Transforming YZD, the 370-Acre former Downsview Airport lands
YZD is part of a larger, comprehensively planned project. To learn more, visit id8Downsview.ca for a detailed overview of our collaboration and engagement with Canada Lands, on the 520-acre Framework Plan.
The Framework Plan will guide the future development of these lands. It forms the basis of an application to the City for an Official Plan Amendment, and a future update by the City to the Downsview Area Secondary Plan. The City launched its own public engagement process, Update Downsview in fall, 2021. More details on the City-led process can be found here.
